Life after the HCG Diet

I have come to really love the HCG Diet.  I almost completely eliminated carbs and high fat content foods from my diet, and also reset my hypothalmus.   It's not a hard diet to do - the first week or so is an adjustment, and you may find yourself hungry, but after that it's a breeze.  I found that when I had hunger pains I would just drink more water; if that didn't work, I took an additional dose of drops.   I will say that the drops I used were our Perfect HCG BioEnergetic drops, which simply are frequency drops.   I learned to make a lot of creative meals which were low fat, and in particular, low carb.  I have always used stevia, but now found new ways to incorporate it into foods.

After Phase 2, you go on maintenance, which basically retrains the hypothalmus.  The key is to slowly increase your calories, but to still keep the carbs low.  During this phase, you can begin exercising.   I have always been fond of Body Flex, which uses deep diaphramatic breathing techniques.  These exercises really burn calories, and I found they keep the weight off.

Body Flex only takes about 15 minutes, is easy to do, and really gives you energy.  When you are planning on going out, and know that you're going to have some wine, and more calories than usual, do a set of BF exercises before you go.  The deep breathing during this 15 minutes burns over 350 calories - a huge amount of calorie burning!

What I have found is that since the HCG diet,  my eating has changed.  In the morning, I usually have a bowl of fruit, and later a piece of warmed Ezekiel bread with Coconut Cream.  Coconut Cream is sweet, coconutty, and has a high percentage of coconut oil in it.  It's a perfect replacement for jams or jellies.   Coconut oil is all I cook with now.  Coconut oil is not retained by the body, and is immediately burned for fuel; in addition, it has a lot of health benefits.  I will occasionally have some homemade jam made with raw organic sugar and stevia.  It's hard to avoid using sugar in jams and jellies, but I do reduce the amount of sugar substantially.  Ezekiel bread is made from sprouted grains, with no flour.   The body processes sprouted grains differently, so that you don't have the carb response.

Lunch is usually light.  I love hummus; it's not really allowed on Phase 2, but can be incorporated into Phase 3 and 4.  I make my own, so that I know what is in it.  I add Perfect Science to it to raise the frequency and neutralize the toxins.   Instead of eating it with chips, I use veggies - mushrooms, peapods, zucchini, green pepper, etc.

For dinner I choose to practice food combining - proteins with veggies, no carbs.   And there are a lot of veggies in relation to the protein.   It is far easier to digest, especially as it's the last meal of the day.

Snacks?  Chocolate Delight - a homemade chocolate candy made with coconut oil, (a bit of coconut cream), and stevia.  See our recipe on Facebook.  Also, the Ezekiel bread can be a great snack for you bread lovers; homemade veggie chips and fruit are great ways to snack during the day.

Homemade lemonade with stevia is wonderful; you can make your own ginger ale, using club soda and a ginger tea reduction with stevia.   Get creative!
